Welcome to PedalPub® Chicago!

The PedalPub® is the Bike with the Barrel!® Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, environmentally-friendly way for groups of eight to sixteen adults to get some light exercise and fresh air while touring interesting parts of town on a big Dutch-made bike. We actively partner with local businesses and non-profits interested in bike safety, the environment, and fun!

Citizens of Chicagoland: For two years, the PedalPub® has beens actively seeking an agreement with Chicago's Business Affairs and Consumer Protection department (BACP) that would allow our bikes, a viable and completely green form of entertainment and transportation, to do business within the city of Chicago. They have denied our business license application four times.

Until such time as we can come to such an agreement, we will be operating in the fun, entertainment filled locales of Berwyn and Forest Park. Not only do these new areas offer a wide array of bar and restaurant options, they are very PedalPub friendly and easy to pedal!

In the meantime, please reach out to your local alderman and express your interest in resolving the current impasse. Ask them to immediately support the efforts by Alderman Moreno to have the PedalPub® granted a business license as a legitimate source of fun and entertainment in the city of Chicago.
